Vitrail is inspired by the creations of Robert Mallet-Stevens and his affinity for geometric shapes. The architect incorporated stained glass in his streamlined designs. Driven by the desire to break with tradition, he adopted a radically modern aesthetic, using simple colours without shading. In keeping with this artistic approach, Casamance uses a variety of skills to capture the essence of this style. On a fibrous paper, the shapes come to life on the planes of colour of many shades, highlighted by metallic inks.
