Commissioned by GP & J Baker from the designer S. Connor in 1973, this classic pattern is a product of the Art Nouveau revival of the 1970s. Connor would have been influenced by the original patterns dating around 1904 to 1906, possibly combining more than one souce into a new design. Closely following the period models, perhaps only the veining of the leaves hints of its more recent origins.
