Morriss design influences could be visual or literary, demonstrated here with Brer Rabbit, a mischievous folk hero from a popular 19th century childrens book. Recoloured by Ben Pentreath, the designs large scrolling leaves and symmetrical oak trees imbue a 1960s and 1970s feel with bold colour combinations inspired by the Morris & Co. archive.
