This was the design that first drew our attention to the Edwardian architect and textile designer C.F.A.Voysey.
Originally named Ballard Tapestry the 'millefleurs' in the background conjured up The Lady & The Unicorn tapestries in the Cluny museum in Paris. So we decided to turn one of the deer into a unicorn with full permission of the the V&A who felt he would have approved.
