Inspired by the delicate fronds embroidered on to a debutante’s couture presentation gown this interpretation has the addition of a satin ribbon applique following the ornate tracery of the design. The gown would have been worn in the final years of a 200 year old ceremony when girls of marriageable age were presented to the Monarch.
