Some birds are recognisable for their spectacularly coloured feathers. They refract light differently depending on the angle. This is the case of the Raggi Bird of Paradise whose plumage has inspired this jacquard. The alternating matte and lustre is obtained by weft floats. From ochre to emerald-green and from ecru to multicoloured, it is made using a polyester warp and a weft of coloured yarns.
