A dormant volcano in the west of Panama has inspired this multi-coloured jacquard. Its slopes capture the delicate colours of daw, blending violet with purple and blue with green, then at sunset they are covered with shades of amber. BARU is a new concept and reinterprets tapestry in a range of contemporary colours. Made on a multi-coloured cotton warp and a line weft, this heavy fabric features a wealth of stitches.
