Charming reinterpretation of an archive kept at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris from Oberkampf's floral indienne collection. This print of interlacing bamboo and carnations is flat screen printed on a particularly fine dense cotton canvas. This lovely print was used in the renovation of the queen's small apartments in Versailles.
